Director
Nick Dangerfield was appointed as Director of Calvay HA in October 2018. He has experience of working for six housing associations across the UK. Immediately prior to coming to Calvay he was Director of a housing co-op in Edinburgh.
He is our Senior Officer responsible for implementing the strategy agreed by the Management Committee and working with our Senior Management Team to make sure we deliver our objectives/plans and comply with all relevant legislation and the standards set by the Scottish Housing Regulator. Nick is committed to ensuring that Calvay continues to thrive as a community based association and that the way we do things at Calvay is modernised to ensure we offer a first class customer service for all of our existing and future customers.
In addition to his paid experience, Nick spent ten years as a co-optee on the Committee of a Tenant Management Co-op and two years on the board of an English housing association. Nick is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and his qualifications include a BA in Urban Policy & Race Relations, a postgraduate Diploma in Housing Studies and a Masters in Business Administration which he gained from the University of Glasgow.
